I have 1999 Scenic, both front windows do not work. I've checked the fuses which are OK. Before I start taking the doors apart is there something else I should check?

will it let you reset them?

1) Take window right down and hold button down for about 10 seconds.

2) take window up and hold button up for about 10 seconds.

3) Window should now be reset

Unusual for both sides to break at the same time.

Is there any noise at all when you press either of the buttons?

Are you pressing each button on the relevant door or just the cluster on the drivers door?

Do you have electric rear windows too?

Hi
There is no noise and I've the switches on both sides. There are no electric windows in the rear. Also not sure if there is a connection but the central locking will lock but not unlaock.

If you are sure the fuses are OK, then open the door and look at the where the door hinges and you will see a large black connector with a wiring loom going into it.

You should be able to slide the connector up and off. This will allow to to see the pins inside. There may be green mould in there or corroded pins.

If the all look OK, then you need to get the window switches out and check the connections there. They should just lever out.

A multitester will be needed in determining if a connection or switch is broken.

As I said before, unusual for both sides to stop working.
