hi was starting an oil change , had poured in a can of wynn engine flush and had car running but now unable to do and oil change and needed to use the car for emergency is it doing any damage bearing in mind old oil still in engine and nothing had been drained

Doubt that. I use Comma diesel engine flush and pour the stuff in a week prior to the oil change. Have done this for years with all my cars and their engines are not wrecked yet. I think the flush agent needs time to do its work. Just filling prior to an oil change and let engine run for a few minutes can't do much cleaning.
