I have a Renault Megane and has recently started stalling while sitting downhill waiting to pull out of a junction and have to wait up to 30 minutes before it will start again. Have had it at a Renault dealership and nothing has shown up on computer. Doesn't do it all the time. Anyone have any ideas about what could be causing this as am at a loss as to what could be causing it.

Welcome to the forum.:)

When the engine cuts out, does it just turn over on the starter motor and not fire?.

If thats what happens, then it sounds like a TDC sensor fault.

What age of Megane do you have and what engine?:)

Also check condition fo your battery, you may have plenty of current to start but if you have a dead cell Volts may be to low for ECU to function properly even on tick over.
Had similar issue with a CLio 2 1.6.

yes does sound like a TDC sensr fault and they are very common cause of these type of fault. but everytime i come across thos fault at work the diagnostic computer always has a "flywheel sensor signal" fault come up (stored or present. the dealer u took to would have seen this for sure
