Just bought a Grand Espace IV 2.2 dCi, MY2005. It throws up a fault every now and then 'injector system fault' which lasts for between a few seconds and five minutes, then disappears. At the same time I'm getting grey smoke from the exhaust which is worse when the fault light is on and on hard acceleration.
The PCV valve is possibly silted up but I would appreciate any advice.

Need to have diagnostics on it as it happens..
Could be EGR, over/under boost issues.
Maf or map sensor fault.
Could even be an injector slow to open ,

It is not Injector System Fault, it is Injection System Fault.
Which basically can mean anything on the fuel feed, boost or monitoring systems.
