EGR valve was removed to reveal a coating of oil!

There is oil in the turbo it seems. :(

I think I know the answer to my next question,
but should I be concerned?

I thought I'd get a heads up before I call the
garage.

Thanks.

Jason I also have a 2.2dci Espace.
I have had it over 2 years and I've had to clean the EGR valve every 4 / 5 months. The EGR can be removed quite easily just three bolts an electrical conection and pull while rotating it from the intake at the front of the engine.
I've seen postings say to use carb cleaner but Ive used WD40 and it just melts the hardened oil, use plenty of paper or rags to wipe of all the crud. you should be left with a nice clean EGR valve.
I think because I only have short journey's most times stop start non motorway and this is why the EGR seems to gum up. If you can when you clean the EGR give the car a service oil filter and air filter this made a big diferance on mine.

Good luck
