Hi all.
I have a Grand Espace 1998 2.2 and the clutch has been stiff since buying it a few weeks back. Today it started to refuse to go in to reverse. Oh bugger, I thought, probably the master cylinder £200 booo...

On inspection I found the plastic clip that connects the master cyl rod to the pedal was flimsy and then promptly snapped clean in half.
Is this part available or does someone happen to have one that i can purchase of an old cylinder?

The part you need is not available seperately i repair them by welding a nut on the end and drilling a hole in pedal for a splitpin but you need to remove the whole assembly to do it !!

Thanks for the reply.
Ah that could be fun where it's stuck at the moment. Is that a monster of a job to get out the whole assembly? Would that include taking out the master hose from the slave?
