It really isn't a good idea to introduce pressurised water into the engine compartment on any modern car,it can create allsorts of problems.
You will have to check all electrical connections and spray them with some WD40 (or similar) to drive the water out of them,if your car is going into limp mode then it suggests that the problem is with the turbo boost control side of things,or possibly the diesel pressure control/sensors.
You might get lucky and run the engine until warm and it may dry things out,but water has a nasty habit of getting into awkward places and if not completely dried out it will cause corrosion.
