First post so please be kind and I know this question has probably been asked over and over but can anyone tell me what G8T variant my Espace is from a VIN?

I have a 1997 R plate (1st reg 29/08/1997) 2.2 RT-X dT with a knackered radiator and oil cooler and need to know what engine I have to make sure I buy the right replacement.

I am not mechanical and cannot locate the plate on the engine as suggested that would give me this information.

If you go to euro car parts website, put in your reg number, it will tell you if you look through engine parts what engine is in it.

Thanks danthevan! I have been on the site and got my engine code confirmed, now to track down a cheap radiator and oil cooler, bonnet and rear fog light and the old girl will run and look pretty again.
