Hi all

'58 plate Grand Espace Initiale with Xenons. Last night the low beam started swapping between normal and low down, then eventually stayed right down - i.e. almost undriveable. Stopping the car by the roadside and turning off/on, the lights did their wee dance up/down/left/right, then again went back to as low as possible.

So if the motors are obviously working OK, could this be the loose or broken suspension-arm-thingys being at fault?

As we are away on hols right now, is this something I could rectify by removing the wheels and faffing with a £2 tool purchased from the local £2 shop?

Do you have to remove the wheels to check these are attached/working?

if the wee arm things are attached, what else could it be? If they aren't attached, do they just clip back in, or is it more serious i.e. needing replacing / a ton of duct tape etc?

Any/all advice / photos much appreciated.

Cheers

Does sound like one of the levelling sensors arm may have come adrift.

As a temporay measure you could try securing it in a fixed position using the likes of duct tape or a couple of nylon cable ties.
