Hi. I have found over time, there is a plastic laminate type film covering the headlight covers that is peeling off in parts and looks a mess.

As you can see, it needs to fully come off, but it is leaving a blur residue I guess glue and I want to clean them up. I have searched but short of 10 minutes using the wrong keywords, I didn't get very far.

Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks

I have been looking at them already but wondered do I just scrape off the film that's already on there ? Unless it has peeled, it isn't easy to get off and leaves it really messy so would need to get it off and repair same day. I can't afford to have to replace the headlight/cover.
