Hi, I have an espace 2.2 dci 2001. For several weeks it has been very sluggish, to the point that I have to change down to first gear to get up a steep hill. Each journey the warning light for fuel injection system comes on at least once. The garage found a leaky injector which has been fixed, but the fault is the same. It goes quite well on the flat and I can feel the turbo kick in but it seems to be late. Garage says turbo is on the way out. I have read other posts with the same kind of fault, but none seem to be quite the same. Problem is, I live in France and language barrier is a bit limiting. Any new ideas please ???

Hi, if I remember correctly the 2.2 has an electric pump that supplies the hp pump just in front of the fuel tank sounds like this could be getting tired have you checked any fuel pressures.

Hi, No haven't checked any pressures, I will try and explain to the mechanic.
