I've bought a set of new wheel nuts for my '98 2.2dti Espace, I've had a look on a few sites and they're supposed to be m12 but the ones I have bought don't fit. I measured them with some calipers and they're 12mm thread size yet the ones on my car are 14mm, any ideas as to why?

Mine are M14 too,I guess all Espace 3's are.

I found out as I had saved a very nice,shiny set of chrome headed bolts from a Megane we broke at work and wanted to replace the rather sad,corroded ones on my Espace with them.......they were too small.

Thanks for your answer. Looks like ordering another set and sending these back, oh well!
