Hi All,

My fan blower stopped working - so no AC no heated air.

I checked the fuse box.

I found the fuse (pink colour, 12v, 40A, big cube type with 04 pins).

1. I hope this is the correct fuse for the blower?
2. When I touch it, it is very hot!
3. I connected a AA battery & a small LED light to check the connectivity. Two pins seem to be connected-LED lights. But not the other two.

What do you make of this?
Is the fuse burnt?
Am I checking the right fuse?

Please help, Renault wants me to pay 50 something plus VAT to have a LOOK at it.

Please help.

That sounds like a relay, not a fuse. Where is it?

It is inside the fuse box in the glove compartment.

Next to it was a fan sign. Is this for the blower fan or the radiator fan?

In any case, should the fuse work - all four pins?

Not sure which it's for.
The pins will not all make a connection, it's a relay and only certain pins will make a connection depending if they are switching or not.
