Hey team
Help, please.
Renault KOLEOS 2.0 dci, 2009.
I keep getting the error code p0470, and yellow spanner warning light.
Have replaced sensor (and the upstream temp sensor which came up as next fault code immediately after replacing EPS)
Which immediately resulted in return of P0470 fault code.
Engine sometimes goes into restricted performance - and sometimes not!
Has had an extended blast down motorway over an hour at 3000rpm - NO effect.
But did notice speed limiter/ cruise control keep coming on as "check cruise control" and do not function.
Clearing the codes with code reader and leaving over night, then activating ignition circuit (not turning engine over) and fault code immediately recurs .....
Umm am baffled!
Any tips?
M

In need of cleaning of EGR or DPF regen? ................ many people here complaining of similar hassles ........... lots of posts on the subject.

Possibly best to hang a CLIP or some such off it and see what the actual measured back pressure is and take it from there

Hoses are fine, was replaced with sensor.
Car stays in restricted performance.
Cleaned EGR
Now getting lambda sensor fault code.....
Unplugged the boost pressure sensor.
Car runs fine now, but MIL obviously stays on.

So the EGR is/was involved somehow then? Your cleanup job - did you also clean the exhaust pressure sensor, its tube/s and the connection/s on the exhaust side (checked for blockages) .

What is the exhaust pressure sensor and MAP reading with the engine not running, and what is the pressure differential on the exhaust pressure sensor with the engine off?
