Does anyone have a definative list of what puts the Warning light 'Fault in Fuel Injection' light on. Or are the possibilities too long and distinguished to be listed.

There is a loss of power assosiated with the warning light which I assume is the Limp Home Mode.

It only comes on when the engine is fully warm, and generally happens when accelerating fairly hard.

I have cleaned up the EGR Valve - But am still Desperatly trying to avoid the dealer!

Any help gratefully recieved.

Cheers Taffny:crazy:

Hi bigshow,

No it doesn't surge at speed, but I do get a little bit of smoke!

I gather there are a load of possible causes, I've done EGR Valve but might have a look at the air flow meter.

Cheers, Taffny.
