I have a fault in the lighting cicuit on the UCH unit on my Renault Megan Scenic 1.9DTi, 1999 model, the car is starting OK but the indicators, hazards and the dip headlights are not working with this unit attached.

I have a unit from another vehicle & the lights are all OK with this unit attached, but the car will not start because it is the wrong code for the car.

So do I need to replace it with matching UCH & ECU units + key fob.

Can you recode the unit from the other vehicle.

Any advice on this matter

Try Autotronics, a company that advertise on Ebay, tel 01162228389. They tell me that a new or second hand UCH can be reprogrammed/recoded from the original. I'm still trying to find a UCH to send to them. Let me know how you get on.
