I'm currently looking at a Becker 47xx series Traffic Pro sat nav, similar to this:

Whilst it's not the latest model by any stretch, it's as close to factory spec as I can get. Navteq Europe maps are upgradable.

I'd be fitting it in my Twingo and wondered if anybody had already done this in a 2001-era Clio? Any advice appreciated.

As far as I can work out, using the pdf installation manual, it's as simple as:

GPS/speedo/reverse being new connections I'll have to find.

I've just received a Becker 4751 Traffic Pro DIN sat nav head unit from eBay. I'll be fitting it in my Twingo.

Currently, I'm reading through the installation instructions. They are online at the link above. Everything seems straightforward - though I've not taken out the factory fit, yet! GPS comes from the antenna, and speedo is on the ISO connection, I think.

The only thing I'm not aware of is the reverse signal?

Is this supplied to the DIN-ISO plug by default or do I have to hunt it down and piggyback it?

Sorry to have not posted photos in this thread.

The install went very easy, did not even connect it to reverse/gears as it was not necessary.

Have since upgraded to a Renault Branded version BE 4740 (identical to 4751 but meant for my exact model car)
