Is it advised to use a flush when changing oil?
The oil in my car is pretty lumpy according to the last garage who fixed my turbo, I was advised to change oil & filter at 50 miles then again at 100 miles. Apparently he has done 4 oil flushes & he is still getting gunk from it. I spoke to another mechanic who said to put a flush through it. Just want to know what you guys think.

Flushing has it pros and cons.
Turbos doen't like flushing oil and also when flushing there is a risk of disturbing more gunk which may make matters worse. So I can understand the garages reluctance to use flushing additive.

If it were mine and there is as much gunk as the garage claims I would remove the sump for a good dunging out.

As above, if you do remove the sump you will most likely find a oil strainer on the pump clean that too.
