Hi again, on the older Lags like mine the fuel filter is under the car just in front of the fuel tank so I'd have a look there first. I'm sure a Lag II owner will give you the correct answer soon,

on most modern petrol renaults they have the fuel filter built in n is a lifetime filter

As above, the diesel has a fuel filter but not the petrol, I think it is in the fuel tank and cannot be changed.
