Hello everyone,
My dad has a 2001 Renault Megane I Ph2 Authentique with the 1.4 16V petrol engine in it. He hasn't driven it in years, and since I turned 18 he has given it to me as my first car. The car was parked when the fuel pump went bad and he neglected it since. I want to see that car live again but I'm having truble finding the exact fuel pump I need for it. I was thinking it might be this: Fuel Pump RIDEX 458F0035 Electric buy cheap online
I just want to be sure before I spend any money on it. If any of you guys know what part I need and have the time to link or reply to me I would really appreciate it.

Thank you! :)

Your link takes me to a pump for a diesel model and that picture is incorrect for a model running on diesel and yours is petrol [ may be a generic photo ]..your best bet is for an accurate find is to remove it and take the part number off the old one..replace it afterwards because if the tank is plastic like many cars are the tank may distort when your looking for a new pump..

Good luck with the search..

I think on that Meg, access to the fuel pump is under the back seat.
See if you can confirm, far easier then dropping the fuel tank.
