Hi everyone. just had a look in the engine bay, and took off the plastic and rubber scuttle/screen trims to look beneath- no sign od any drains. Not likely to be either as the screen bottom area is very well forward of the actual bulkhead. On having th offside front strut replaced last summer, they guy said that the recess for the strut top bolts looked like it was full of water for some time and was very rusty. So somehow I think water from the heater ducts is finding its way into there. Hence the bad condensation on the inside of the screen when it goes cold at night. No probs with wet carpets or such.

Anyone know where the drains come out? prob'ly under the car near the front of the heater box? Are they visible, and can they be poked clear from below? There is no sign of water in the air intake behind the pollen filter, so I'm kinda stumped by this! Cheers'n'beers!
