hi guys - anyone recommend a 10mm deep glow plug socket tool....ive got a whole set of normal glow plug removal sockets but none fit my megane 2003 dci...seems i need a 10mm deep/long socket and it has to be thin as the normal ones wont go over the glow plugs due to them being so tight in the engine..ta

Just went into the local car shop got a set of deep sockets for about £6
unfortunately they are so cheap they don't have a name on them but do the job no problem.

I picked up a reasonably priced socket set in Halfords to get one of those for my Lag. The ratchet handles are not up to much but the sockets fit my other tools so I'm happy.

Perhaps you should entrust the job to a skilled mechanic.

nah.. done it myself, asked a local garage if i could borrow a socket, did it outside there car yard...took about 10 mins...piece of pish...lol...
