Help! Central locking on the driver's door has just packed-up. All other doors and the tailgate lock correctly using the 'plip'. The alarm sets correctly and if the (faulty/unlocked) driver's door is opened, the alarm goes off as it should.

Anyone had this problem before or got any ideas on where to start tracing the fault? (do I recall reading something somewhere about a system reset procedure?)

Sod's law were off on holiday end of the week - don't these things always happen at the worst possible time!

check for broken wires in the plug where the wiring goes into the door this is the usual culprit

hi how did you get on with your central locking ?
we had the same problem with are espace but near side passenger door the solenoid was moving but not all the way sprayed it with silicone spray and so far it been ok hope this helps
