Hi I have a 2004 (54) grand scenic 1.5dci which is creating air in the cooling system and causing the car to overheat I have changed the thermostat and drained and re bled the cooling system but with no luck does anybody have any ideas??

Pressure test the cooling system to see if there are any weaknesses / leaks.

·If it's pressurising the system, it could be the HG allowing exhaust gases into the coolant galley.
Get a chemical test done to check if the gasket's gone.
