Hi folks. I liked the song title thread. How about a 'best albumn' to drive to? Im showing my age but heres two to start with:
Boston by Boston
Bat Out of Hell by Meatloaf
Both great to listen to on the motorway!
PS If its been done before, sorry for being old(ish)

Hmm, torn between so many. I'll probably end up adding to this later on.

Joe Satriani - Flying in a Blue Dream
Lenny Kravitz - 5
Moby - 18 (vastly superior to the much hyped 'Play' in my opinion.)
Bon Jovi before he started all that poncey cowboy [email protected] Particularly "Bon Jovi" and "7800 Degrees Fahrenheit."
Foreigner - Agent Provocateur
Guns 'n' Roses - Appetite for Destruction (the second CD I ever bought and I still listen to it.)

But probably my all time favourite driving album is:

ZZ Top's Greatest Hits

Meatloaf Bat out of hell

Prince Purple rain

The smiths The queen is dead

Kylie Fever

All these albums make the regular trips to Exeter seem a lot shorter

Still a Petrolhead but also like diesel

Who's Next - The Who (awesome)
Crossroads - Bon Jovi (too good)
Boston - Boston (I originally bought that on vinyl in 1976 for £1.25 ..... Listen on Byres Road, Glasgow .... shops long gone but the el'cheepo price tag is still on the album)
Steve Perry - Steve Perry (ex singer with Journey)
Cracked rear view - Hootie and the Blowfish (what happened to them?)
Wheatus - Wheatus (refreshing)

oh and The story so far - Paul Carrack (fantastic ... singer with Ace, Squeeze, Mike and the mechanics) - its in the head unit.

Thats what in the changer for the last couple of months.

Def Leppard - Hysteria (nuff said). If I'm driving alone.

Level 42 - Best of. If I'm feeling a touch nostalgic (and my age)...

Eminem - The Eminem Show. If I'm not feeling my age!
