Hi, I have a 2012 Renault Clio and currently it's giving problems when shifting gears. No grinding noises or slipping of gears. Seems to struggle to get the gears into place and slow acceleration. Clutch pedal biting point is a bit high but other than that no problems. Has anyone had similar issue?

Do the gears change easily when engine is off?

Yes no problem when enginr is off. I think it's something with the syncromesh

It is to do with the synchromesh not allowing gears to release but that is likely due to the clutch not disengaging fully.
Typical symptom is that gear selection is fine with engine off but when running is difficult.
It could be clutch plate sticking on first motion shaft or pressure plate not operating properly or release cylinder not operating correctly or simply pedal not going down far enough (mat underneath for instance)
