Well I must say Harrogate is a pleasant town and a very good shopping area, A well kept former Spa town which has retained its links to the past, lots of open areas and very good floral parks.

A very pleasant place to stay in or visit no big shopping centres... very nice .

Sounds like you had a good time Otto, nice to hear that some towns have kept some of their identity and past, rather than be full of modern buildings and no green places.

Yes the old and the new integrated very well.

Plenty of Bars Bistros etc food was good in all the places I ate in tho some expensive but I still felt were good value as the level of service was very good.
