I seem to have developed a loud squeak on my passenger side wheel. Can be heared intermittently when driving in a straight line but can be temporarily fixed my turning the steering wheel slightly. I've checked the discs and pads and they seem ok.

On a side note when I jacked wheel up and rotated it back and forth the far end of the drive shaft going in to the gearbox seemed quite rattly. Is this normal?

Thanks

Huw

could be a variety of things

can you hear it more so when you ar driving over speed humps etc?

if so, it could be an anti-roll bar link

Nope, can be heared driving over a flat road. Anti roll bar links we changed no so long ago. Its not that sort of noise , its not a brief squeak, its more of a constant squeak like metal rubbing metal.

Drove in to work this morning - no squeak, so its intermittant at best!
