We currently own 3 renaults, a clio, an express and a traffic mini bus. They are all early 90's models. We want to upgrade the traffic and have seen a master mini bus that we like the look of. Its a 2002, 2.2 dci with 170 k. After doing some research it appears that maybe we should steer clear? Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

Hello & welcome. We need more members with the older commercial vehicles  Are spares for these older vehicles readily available in France or getting harder to find ? Are there many examples still running around or have most been scrapped? It'd be interesting to know.

we do not seem to have a problem with spares except for the price of them !! last time we needed bits for the clio to get through the control we sourced them all from england ebay and saved our selves over 200 euros!! and we recently sourced a second hand fuel pump for the traffic quite easly in france. You still see quite a lot of older renaults on the road here even though the french do like a new car as well. there are quite a few old traffics and clios running around but loads of expresses, they seem to be the 'old boys' van around here and you see loads of them. problem is that we need to upgrade and if we stick with renault it seems to mean a dci and i keep reading horror stories
