hey peeps
i brought a megane coupe on a t plate about 2weeks ago and it keeps idleing at about 2000rpm and when driving it revs by itself.
i have located the problem after changin idle valve, map sensor, coolent temp sender and also cleaning the carb with valvoline carb cleaner after still not having any look i had it plugged in on a diag and nout came up. i sprayed the whole engine with wd 40 and located the problem......... it turned out to be the inlet manifold rubbers. theres four on the inlet and one at the back of the throttle body. thing is how the hell does it all come off :S anyone got pics?

ok so i have changed the rubbers on the inlet manifold and still no luk.
any ideas ppl?

Sorted the problem. Was the o-ring on the back of the throttle body.

Sorry you didn't get any advice but thank you for the update It may help someone in the future with a similar problem.
