Looks like mine has been disabled on my mrs 98 megane so I can't re-sync the key phob.

Any ideas anyone?

Sorry don't know how to re-enable it but make sure you know how to disable it if you do as if it as been disabled due to it not disarming you could end up with a car you cant start.

have the key phob not working is a right pain so hopefully somebody will know..

renault will charge more then the cars worth..

dont know but i take it for them to have disabled it they would have to flash the immo chip in the ecu, ie taken/deleted all the old immo stuff off it now this is the q why did they do it 1 was it a replacement or was there a fault some where, you would prob be better off buying a after market alarm and fitting that

There is no need to re-enable to re-sync the key phob
re-enable wll not help you in any way
the key fob is sync ed to the uch not the ECU
as I told you in your other post to get the LED on the dash to flash you will have to findout if it has been removed from the dash or had the wire cut at the uch/fusebox
