Does anyone know how to change the sparplugs on an 2003 Laguna II, 1,8 petrol.
I live in Norway and the Haynes manual is unfortunately impossible to get a hold of here....

The car runst perfectly except for between 1800-200 rpm.
Have spoken to the local Renault dealer and he says i can try to change the spark plugs before letting them do an expensive diagnostics.

The car is due for a 120' km service in 5' km, so i want to wait until that before taking it into service.

hello its fairly simple, remove the coil pack on each plug, put down a spark plug socket and spin out.

but just in case i have scanned in from the Haynes Manual.
Might be a good idea to delete your post before one of the Mods sees it, Haynes could be sueing you or the forum under copyright laws.

post 2 does....you dont have a spark plug cap as such or a coil, in the usual form...each plug cap has a coil built into it :)

Just to make things a little clearer......

On the Laguna 11,

Take the engine cover off

You will then see the 4 leads down the centre of the engine.

They are clipped to each pencil coil,

Down the side of each coil is a 10mm bolt which holds the coil in place, remove the bolt and lift out the coil.

You will then see the Plugs, remove them with a normal plug socket.

You can buy the Haynes Manual from Haynes by going online.
