Hi All,

Could someone please help!! what is the best way to completely drain the cooling system on my Espace (1997), I have looked under the bonnet and under the car but can not see any hoses low enough to drain it from.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.........

Hi - and welcome to the forums :)

You don't say which engine it is, but most of this vintage don't have a block drain plug. Just disconnecting the bottom radiator hose should be sufficient.

When re-filling, there is usually a bleed screw on the thermostat housing, which isn't immediately obvious - it looks just like one of the fixing bolts :(

New to this and basic mistake. ha ha

Thank you for the quick response.

I have a 2.2 DT, I have looked but there doesn't seem to be any hoses at the bottom? I have found a what I think is a bleed screw on one of the hoses?

Think I will just flush this through using the top rad. hose.

Hope this will do the job.:d
