Hello guys, I want to test the ignition coil from the outside with 12v. which voltage should I apply to which ends? Can you help

Bu İngilizce konuşan bir forum, İngilizce soracak birini bulabilir misin? Bobini hangi noktada test edeceğinizi mi soruyorsunuz? Ya da arabadaki kablo demetini test etmek için hangi nokta. Hangi modelin yıl modeline sahip olduğunu bilmemiz gerekiyor

SO you want to put your own power supply to the coil..
Lost now as to what this will do,
.
You can buy something like this, and this will prove if High tension side is up to the job



And an Ohms meter to test the low side of the coil..


Shoving 12 volts through it wont test anything,
Its not quite that simple..
You would need something like this

There are 4 pins I wonder, what is connected to these pins
Trigger supply to output for 1 and 3 and trigger supply for output to 2 and 4 AFAIK.

This type of coil is actually two coils, each being triggered at the appropriate time to provide a spark to the cylinder that needs it.... the paired cylinder also sparks but is on the exhaust cycle so does nothing except spark.
You may want to google Redundant Spark.
