I'm trying to remove the plastic on the left of the below image (unsecured at the top at A).

I'm struggling to remove it at C.

Am I going in the right direction, should I just use more plus gas? Thanks!

That'll be the inlet manifold and there should be a line of bolts/nuts running along the front of the head at the same height as 'C'.

It looks to me like A is an air separator mounting bolt, B is a rocker cover / camshaft cover bolt and C is a manifold nut.

Suggest you remove one item at a time rather than just undoing everything all in one go and hoping for the best.

You have a long way to go before reaching the head gasket !
