Hey all.

I have the ericsson HCB300 kit I want to install. I have installed it in all my previous cars (the same actual unit) so I know where the wires need to go in order to make it wqork, however I have no wiring diagram for the head unit harness to tell me which is 12V mains, Grnd and antenna.

Anyone got any idea where to get this,

Also, I assume I can connect the speaker output to the computer voice speaker and they will both share it?

Well, thanks for the info, I did just go out and work it all out, however I appear to have created a new issue.

I found out the correct connections and began placement of the various cables for the bluetooth, and upon connecting it all up, everything seemed ok.

Pushed stereo unit back into slot etc, but, now when I remove the key from the car, the stereo stays on.

I can even get out, and lock the car, and the stereo keeps on playing???

I have remove the 3 wires for the bluetooth and it still wont turn off by itself when the key is removed?

Anyone know what I have done, have I popped something?

Hi spottedhaggis

Check A4 and A7 have not become shorted, this would cause the radio to stay on after key is removed.

Hope this helps.

:) :)

I cant see any way in which A4 and A7 could possibly get crossed? lol, everything looks fine from the back of the head unit.

I have also noticed that I have to turn on the BT, then the phone connects but after a short while (1 min) it turns itself off again, something it has never done before,

The headunit still wont turn off when the key is removed and I am lost.

All I can think is that somehow I managed to short a wire against the case of the HU, but cant see a fuze on the unit itself, and have no clue where to look now, its a royal pain in the bum though.
