Hi guys

I have a manual so I can see what I have to do to change the fog light bulb, but is it easy or hard? Should i pay to get it done for me?

I have just got my first car as passed my test 3 weeks ago.:) :) :)

Any tips on changing the bulb?

Thanks

Jason

Fog light bulb

Hi jason 123 - its a relatively simple job although its fiddly the first time you do it - expect a fews cratches round the knuckles, etc., but as a relatively new driver its a good way to start to learn to do your own maintenance. Remember these bulbs are known as halogen bulbs - it extremely important you do not touch them with your bare hand. If you do the bulb wil lprobably blow again after a very short time. If you inadvertly touch clean it clean it with meths or surgicla spirits or somthing similar using a clean tissue and then proceed. To avoid this problem try practising with the old bulb first- you'll soon get the hang of it. If you fail - well all it has cost you is the price of a bulb.. If we don't try we will never succeed.

It depends what type of foglight you have fitted the megane had 2 types fitted 1 you can remove with the foglight on the car the other the foglight has to be removed which can be a dificult job as the screw holding it in rarely comes undone and has to be drilled out.
