I have a megane coupe. In the middle of car to the left of the main dash, theres an LCD display thats shows the time and the temperature. This use to worok fine. But now it shows the wrong temperature, its out by like 20 degrees or more.

Recently i had a slight burn to the wiring of the electric mirror control switch on the drivers side door. I had to buy a new control switch and socket connecting the new socket to the old wire loom on the door, by cuttin goof the burnt socket. The electric mirros work fine and i joint the wires according to the colours.

The false temp recording was noticed after this. So Im just wondering what it could be, is it something to do with a fuse or something or will it be a faulty thermometer?
