i use a trolley jack to jack up my Laguna, i always place jack under the rail here the suppled jack fits from jacking up so many times the rail is starting to bend. my question is ,were is the best place to position jack also were to place axle stands so they do not cause any damage

The problem with trolley jacks is simply they tend to have a curved plate and the load is being taken on 2 points - therefore damage is likely t ooccur no matter here you put it - I have seen heavy duty rubber feet with a slot in them which goes between thej ack and the edge of the sill but I haven't a clue were you could get them and I am sur ethay wouldn't be cheap.:)

I use a wood disc I made to fit in the cup of the jack so the weight of the car is spread out.

I use a lump of wood that is 6 inches long 3inches wide and 2 inches deep'with a slot cut in the top slightly less than the depth of the rail.
