Hi There!!! does anyone have any pics of what the airbox looks like with a few self tappers in it??? I'm not 100% sure where to position the screws and i'm afraid of making a mess of things!!!!!

My Lag 11 petrol engine airbox does not have any self tappers in it, the airbox should be competely sealed except for the pipe in and the pipe out?

Yes - but on some Laguna II models there is a resonanting/vibration sound that appears to come from behind the glovebox, this happens under hard acceleration normally.
Apparently on some earlier Lag II's, the dci being one of them, Renault have "cured" this by fitting a self tapping screw to the cover of the air filter cover to stop it resonating.

I think it only affects LAguna II Phase I models up until late 2003.

Yeah SportTourer you're completely right. I think this is the problemm that i'm experiencing at the minute. Its ok when the weather isnt too cold but when it is then the vibration is really annoying!!!

So does anyone have any wee cheeky pics of where i need to screw the airbox with self tappers
