my car is in the local garage to have the cambelt and tensioners changed it has now been there a day and a half(the first day the wrong parts were delivered) just phoned them to see if its ready and they said they are having a problem lining the belt back up.Should i be worrying now or is this a common problem?

I'd probably be slightly worried.

Mine had to be manually set as the garage didn't use cam locks, but they did it within a few hours.

If they know what they're doing it shouldn't be a prob - or maybe their techy guy has thrown a sickie. Was the engine running OK when you left it in.:)

yes it was running fine they just said one of the tensioners was on its way out and it needed a new kit thats what the delay was originally but they are a national company so they should have someone who can do it!
