When changing gear and decelereating after heavy acceleration i am hearing a squealing noise and/or a sort of whooshing/hissing sound. My limited knowledge makes me think it's the clutch, but i can't help thinking it may just be a belt. Does anyone have any thoughts on this. Thanks

If it's a turbo diesel? sounds like you might have a split air intake pipe?
