Hi all
I was traveling down the motorway the other day at around 70mph, had to slow down briefly due to car being in front and then went to overtake and the engine cut out and the engine stop light came on. Rolled to the side of the road, the car failed to start. A quick list of things ive looked at so far are: cam belt which is fine, fuel filter is ok, all injectors are all getting fuel and if i start the car with my foot on the clutch, it tikes over but the minute i take my foot off the clutch it stops. The car will not start, theres plenty of battery life and it has water and oil. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Jack

Check the anti-stall/safe start switch on the clutch pedal. You'll need to get down in the drivers footwell for a squint up towards the top of the pedal.:)
