So my Laguna has been sitting for a few days. This morning I get in it to go to work and the dreaded bing bong and the ***** says "ESP faulty contact Renault dealer!". So I drive to work with the yellow light flashing at me! RAGE!!!

Get to work car drives fine doesn't miss a beat. I turned it off and on again four times and no warning at all now on start up. Even press the system check button and no problems.

Can a sensor just not reset itself properly sometimes? Or do I have an expensive trip to a main dealer looming!

Can the brake fluid being low set the sensor off as someone at work said his senic had the same issue but after he topped up the fluid he never had the problem again?

My car is a 2001 Lauguna estate 3.0 V6
