Hi, I've had my Laguna 1.9 Diesel Tourer off the road for nearly 6 months and want to get it back on the road, I would like some advice though on the best procedure so I dont damage anything. The battery is completely flat, i have a charger though. The diesel tank is practically empty so will need a top up. When I connect the battery charger I get the electrics working with the radio code request.
Any advice on how I can safely get this car back on the road with the minimal work/expense (within reason obviously). I'm planning on a few long trips on the continent so want to get it back to tip top shape.

All advice will be greatly appreciated.

I've never done it with a diesel but on petrols when I have done this I have done oil and filter change and also changed the fuel filter. Never had a problem

Thanks, is there anything else anyone would advise? Or where I can order the parts for a DIY job?

Google eurocarparts, they are usually cheap. Only other thing would maybe be glowplugs.
