Hi
Just bought a laguna 2.2dci initiale went out last night for
1st time to find out the climate display is not lit up,can anyone tell me if theres a bulb at the back and how to replace it or is more serious. HELP THANKS.

This is a fairly common probably, with a relatively simple fix.
It is caused by a dry joint on one of the components on the PCB.

There are detailed instructions, with photos of how to carry out this repair yourself. As long as you are ok with a soldering iron it shouldn't be a problem. If not it probably wouldn't cost much to get a local auto electrician to do the repair for you. Renault will just charge to fit a completley new panel and relieve you of about £500 for the privilege.

Try a forum search on Laguna II climate control display illumination, it may even be in the LAguna FAQ section.
