Hello & Welcome to the Forums.

Is it just the drivers door or is the interior light not coming on when any door opened if so have you got the light switch set properly.

Thanks
Yes definately just the drivers door that doesn't operate the interior lights. I have a newer Megane where the lights operate on the lock catch, is it likely to be the same on an older laguna. If so,before i make a monkey of me self stripping the door down, is it likey to be integral part of lock of seperate mechanism?????? Will eqip myself with a second hand lock first if likely to be this. Not sure, haven't worked on cars for several years due to company car, so a bit rusty on these up to date cars.
