Is the 2.0T engine in the '53 plate Laguna Sport tourer. The IDE engine or not?

I'm not 100% not knowing to much about Lagunas but I would say you are going to find a 2.0 16 valve F4R engine in a 53 Laguna which is just an over bored version of your 1.8 F4P engine.

Your engine number should be on the engine block to the right of the dipstick above the engine number is the engine type in the photo is a 2.0 Scenic engine F4R 740 denoting it's a 2.0 manual engine so your should read F4R ??? or F4P ??? for the 1.8 engine.

NOPE, the 2.0T was not an ,IDE ever....was bad, but not as bad as a 2.0ide. That was a bab bad engine.....lol

From what I've read I'd be walking away from cars with those engines in them. Blighted by fuel pressure issues I belive?
