Having got the car a few months ago and it previously not been serviced for a while, im attempting to do it all now.

For the spark plugs what size socket do i need? And are the plugs fairly deep. Also i noticed the leads are held down by torx or allen nuts?

1999 Laguna Estate 1.8 16V btw.

Thanks

You'll need a T30 socket or screw driver to remove the coils.Be carefull as the heads are easy to round out making removal ten times more difficult!.

Well i've not had the car long and they guy before left it over a year without a service so i'm just going about doing it now.

It's had the oil and the air filter changed want to get the sparks asap too.

While im here there is an issue with the car. The fan doesn't engage when the temperature rises therefore causing the car to overheat. When the AC's on however it turns the fan on and keep the car at the right temperature.

What could the issue be there? Sensor may be out?
