Just a quick question does the turbo use different type of coils to the naturally aspirated engine because my neighbors all look different to standard and one has gone want to replace it with the right type for him.

Thanks for your reply the wires connect the exactly the same but the coils in the car look like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311331933065?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Except for the one that has failed which looks like a standard coil in all the other petrol engines, like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Berlit-Renault-Pencil-Coil-/182017854369?hash=item2a611c0ba1:g:zqUAAOSwezVWuXD8

There is quite a price difference I can get a Valeo standard one for £10 or the first posted above is £25

The bottom link, that coil is not for your friends car, think it must have failed before and some one has just replaced that coil with a generic,
If you take one of the other 3 out, find the number and put it into your web browser thingy,, you could end up with finding a pencil coil cheaper than 25£
